Honda Motorcycles of the 70s and 80s at the Reynolds Museum - September 23, 2019

Have a look at these beautifully restored vintage Honda motorcycles from the 70s and 80s.  These and some older models are just some of the numerous bikes displayed at the museum.  Being a Honda motorcycle rider myself, I really appreciate this show! Enjoy the photos!

In the Fields at the Reynolds - September 18, 2019

As a new segment of my ongoing photography projects, I recently visited the world class Reynolds Museum.  Hidden in plain sight in the fields west of the building is the Outdoor Industrial Display.  A magnificently eerie resting place for rare and obsolete heavy equipment, these draglines, excavators, shovels, locomotives, tractors and diesel trucks were used in coal mining operations, sewer and water and heavy construction projects during the early to mid-1900s and onwards.

The fields are a dream come true for heavy equipment operators and mechanics as well as a treasure trove of spectacular images for photogs like us who love this sort of shoot.  What a great day!

Zilon's Street Art Performance at Le Diamant - September 12, 2019

The artist Zilon was recently given Carte Blanche by the Diamant Performing Arts Centre in Quebec City to do a live street art performance on an entrance wall to their building.  Also known as "the Cocteau of the alleys", Zilon was one of the leading figures of the Montreal punk and underground movement in the 80s.  He is now famous for his graffiti art, as well as in the fields of music and performance.
