In the heat of a summer's day, a friend and I discovered a metal mile of rusted farm machines, wagons, the chassis of an antique truck, iron wheels, motors, coils, winches, cables, chains and gears heaped one upon the other, baking in the sun in the fields at the Reynolds.
After photographing everything inside the museum, including the featured 'Metal Art Show', as well as bi-planes, helicopters and military aircraft at the Aviation Centre, AND the Bucyrus Excavators exhibit, (all of which are posted here on my blog), we were not expecting this mirage of twisted metal.
As I got my second wind and with camera at the ready, I began shooting as much of this incredible visual find as I could. A memorable day, to say the least!
Here’s the first of 3 sets of photos I took that day. Stay tuned for more!
