After packing up a small lunch, I recently drove down to one of my favorite local parks for a 2 hour nature walk. Halfway through my hike, the sky suddenly turned pitch black and rain began to beat down. With nowhere to run but straight ahead, I made a beeline for a nearby underpass, where I discovered some cool graffiti, a madly rushing creek and shelter from the rain.
